About Me
Hello, my name is Hovig Sarkissian and I am a Los Angeles based sound designer and audio engineer specializing in interactive game audio.
My sound adventures began way back with a guitar in my hand and an ever expanding board of effect pedals and synths which I would endlessly tinker with to find the wackiest and weirdest sounds I could create.
I continued on to develop both my music and audio production skills at UC Riverside and Citrus College where you would find me in various world music ensembles, prepping mics and sessions in studios, and even doing live sound at The Smell in Downtown LA.
But my sonic journey would eventually lead me to focus on sound design for games. With my technical groundwork acquired at School of Video Game Audio, I am always looking for new game jams, projects, and audio teams to explore sound with.
I love discovering, experimenting, and creating all types of sonic mishaps and beeps, with a personal liking to magic, spells, and all things arcane and medieval fantasy. So grab a mic and let's collaborate!
Outside of gaming and sound design, you can find me tabletop gaming, watching anime, and collecting vintage Lego.
